For that reason Shekhar Kapoor and Prannoy roy .. the world this week fame are both Chartered Accountants ...... but I am sure that they would nt have switched for monetary reasons alone ... it has to be more than that .

i see views posted on the topic of austr and canada.i am in canada for more than five yrs.but,i didnot like from day one.also,i aplied from canada for austr immig but my case rejected two times saying i am above55yrs.in this context,i have no option other than living herein canada.so,i think to go back to india forever.anybody like comment on me.
I feel that life is abt achievement and contributing back to the society as much as you can .... a doctor turning into a medical representative is highly unlikely as much as an engineer opening a kiosk.... you could find exceptions though ....money has its limitations in growth and achievement as has alsobeen found by Maslow and BCG .
Coming back to Can v/s Aus as the thread here s another thread which has more info on this and is titled Can over Aus ..... http://www.canadiandesi.com/read.php?TID=10045
Sometimes I feel its hard to shake off our country and culture off us as that has become an identity ..... I could not enjoy Christmas and they cant enjoy Diwali ...... may be some people will find peace in India alone ... in the end its peace of mind which matters the most .

HI GUYS! WHAT HAVE I DONE! I HONESTLY WANTED REPLIES REGARDING AUSTRALIA. IF AND WHETHER IT IS A GOOD MOVE. BUT IT SEEMS THAT I HAVE STIRRED SOME SORT OF EMEMITY HERE. I APOLOGIZE. I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT AUSTRALIA IS AN OVERALL #1 RATED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, CONSIDERING THE HEALTH SYSTEM, SCHOOLS, AND AVERAGE SALARY PER PERSON. AND I DON'T BELIEVE IN RACISM. YES IT HAPPENS BUT I AGREE WITH SYDNEY SIDER. I WAS RAISED IN CANADA, BORN IN INDIA ( PROUD OF IT TOO) AND I LOVE GOING TO INDIA BAZAAR AND ALL THAT. BUT SOME INDIANS ARE JUST TOO MUCH AND OTHERS ARE UNBLIEVABLE. EITHER THEY ARE TOO NICE AND NICE LOOKING, EITHER THEY JUST WALK BLIND-FOLDED UNABLE TO SEE HOW EVERYONE ELSE IS DRESSED, BEHAVE ETC........(NO OFFENCE). THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT SHOULD BE CHANGED EITHER FOR SUCCESS OR TO FIT IN. I CAN'T WEAR SALWAAR AND KAMEEZ AND PRETEND I LOOK "HOT" AMONGST WOMEN DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE. DRESS RIGHT FOR THE PART, THATS WHAT CANADA AND OTHER COUNTRIES ARE. I BELEIVE UNLESS ONE SEES AUSTRALIA,CANADA, OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY, SHOULD NOT JUDGE WHETHER IT IS HORRIFIC TO LIVE THERE. AND BY THE WAY SYDNEY SIDER...I LOVE CANADA...WHO KNOWS..WITH GLOBAL WARMING, AUSTRALIA MIGHT JUST BE THAT FREEZER YOU HATE SO MUCH
COMING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TOPIC. I THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR INPUT AND SUCH PRECIOUS TIME. I WISH TO GET MORE INPUT ON THE ORIGINAL TOPIC. THANKS EVERYONE. TAKE CARE
