We're having a baby in December and are hunting around for frugal shopping options. These are two that I have come across and would like to share with you'll.

1. Baby Cribs

This is a good place for cribs/bedding. The seller will sell items for cash (no tax). However what is better is that this seller has an ebay ID: BABYCRIBS1. He uses this to get rid of slightly scratched items.

We purchased a crib that was originally $400 for $200 and all it had was 3 scratches in a hidden place. I didnt notice any major deals in store apart from the crib mattress that we purchased for $70, same mattress was $100 at BabiesRUs.

Check out his ebay store. All are new items.

I have not been here yet, will go one of these weekends. This was a reccommendation at the pre-natal class that I went to. Apparently diapers are a good deal here along with other baby items. Worth a looksee- I was told.

I have not been to 'Once Upon A Child' at Trinity Commons yet, but I would like to check it out. If anyone has been there and has an opinion, please do share it. If any one has any other recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

Read your post...was quite excited since we are also expecting our first baby in December. I have like so many questions running through my mind and its nice to know that I can share it with someone who is sailing in the same boat as me...Pm me if you would like to connect..it will be nice to share our experiences and hopefully start a small group of expecting mothers..wat say??

You should try babyrus. As they are the cheapest source for baby shopping. we bought every thing during there sale last month.We visited all the stores u mentioned, but find babyrus is the best.for diapers try costco. they have the best prices.

Actually I am also expecting in coming days, any moment now.:-)
