When we used to read a lot of comics & magazines like Phantom, Mandrake (Indrajaal comics), Chandamama, Champak, Amar Chitra Katha.
When novels like Famous Five, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, etc. used to be read fervently.
When we used to go for a drive on a bike...

when I first fell in love & the heartbreak when the girl refused...
When we used to be in India & be happy & yet wished that we could be in Canada...... Now that we are in Canada we are not happy & wish that we could be in India.

I remember the days
When i played till late in the evenings and mom had to drag me in to do the homewor
When it was time to play cricket at 5.0pm no matter what happened
WhenYou had to get wet in the first rain and you couldnt miss it for anything
When GIANT ROBOT on second channel was a religion
saturday afternoon was casette time to rent a VCR
When G10 meant the most popular VCR in the country and not some group of countries
When some boy manages to talk to a girl in school then he is famous
When walking on streets of Mumbai was actually stres//pollution free and a lot of fun
When Hanging gardens and Juhu garden was the place to go
When we used to wait for Bandhs to play cricket on the road
When 50 paisa pocket money daily made me proud
When everyone got a BSA champ
When it was fun to walk in knee deep water from school to home
When morning prayers in school was time to finish homework
When PT, craft and drawing was the best period in school
When we hid report card from parents till it was the last day to get them signed
When school pinic was the best thing ever in school
I think Mumbai till 1992 was so innocent fresh and energizing,
and it is really sad to see it what it is now and i am happpy that i am here in Canada.

Does any body recollect the show \"Mathemagic\" that used to come on DD on sunday morning during 1987? It was compered by a Bengali guy and Zarina Patel (who costarred with Kumar Gaurav in \"Janam\"

If I am not mistaken the Bengali guy was Siddarth basu, the pioneer of gaming quiz in Indian Television and later went on to direct KBC.. not sure if he is doing the KBC2 as well..
