Are you there?
Someone I know came to Canada a month before expected delivery date ....they went to Saskatoon in Saskechewan ....there is no waiting period there for medical coverage.
Your friend should check with the ministry of Helth of different provinces , some provinces do not have any waiting period and they might be able to get coverage right away.
