If you stay in a company long enough, you should automatically get into some sort of mgmt role even if it is at a low level.

so you are into .net? what else?

Well, have worked for various consulting firms like Ernst & Young, Accenture. THis in the States, and India. Currently I work more on the design side, i.e. architecture and less coding. But I am MCAD (MS cert) certified. Have led small teams: 10-12 people.

I've been trying to get some domain exposure in the retail space...not sure if that'll work out.

I think my communication skills are ok, but I guess says that about themselves! :D

Anyway, I'm hoping this will allow me to break into the job market. Will have to wait and see....

Oh, I am doing pretty well here in India but want to move mainly for the quality of life...I know I'm going to get flamed on this one!

If you come here, arm yourself with as many skills, certifications and any other thing that can be put in your resume.
