Hello friends
I am Indian student with M.com in accounts and finance and have passed the Executive i.e second level of Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Currently i am working as a trainee in a Company secretary firm from past 1 month.
I am planning to come on a student visa this September. I wanted to know
(1) Will i get any transfer credits for my professional program in ICSA
(2) What should i choose as a career path ( in respect of job prospects, time) CGA or Chartered Secretary
(3) There are three courses on my mind from Centennial College
a. Strategic Management- Accounting
b. Project Management with Internship
c. International Business Management
Course (a) gives u a benefit of getting upto 4 credits to do CGA
Course (b) provides u with a benefit of writing for a PMI examination
Which of (a), (b) or (c) is more of a demand in terms of earning potential?
I know its more on your capabilities and luck but what does the market say?
please do suggest me
-Forget about option c.....waste of time/money.
-The Project Management course is tempting due to the internship component.
-Having completed four CGA levels means little in today's job market if you don't have relevant work experience.
Thanks voltex for your suggestion
That means Project Mangaement is a better option
But what would be its market potential? as in will i get a good job
