Finally landed in Canada late last week. Here is my landing experience:
Drove up to Canada in my car. Stopped at US customs and immigration to export my car. If you are planning to export a vehicle out of US, fax a copy of title to US customs at least three days before you arrive. Took about 15 minutes to wait for my turn and complete the formalities. After that, crossed the Rainbow Bridge and entered into Canada. Immigration officer at the border asked to me pull over into customs and immigration building. At immigration, I was asked to present landing papers, back statement and address in Canada. This took another 10 minutes and then we were asked to proceed to customs side of the building. Here, we were asked for list of goods accompanying and goods to follow. This took an another 15 minutes.
Arrived at Toronto late Friday evening and didn't get a chance to do much. On Saturday/Sunday, we drove around city. I love this city. I can see myself living here for a very long time.
Canada did indeed welcome you. Hope you enjoyed the snow last evening.

Welcome junooni
Welcome Junooni! I noticed from one of your other posts that you were able to get a job before landing, while in US! CONGRATS!!
I think it is a very good idea to take the car along. With this, I have a question: Supoose if I buy a car in US, take it with me to Canada, how do my car payments get affected? Do I transfer it to Canada or do this export procedure similar to Junooni? Can someone elaborate??
