Yo Fresher,
Do u c how a generic (not to the point) question can confuse the most senior desis ? :D
Try to do a better job nextime. :)

&

Hey Senior's,
Do u c how difficult it can be for some 2 appropriately phrase a question ? (when u dont know the ins and outs.)
- Some people aint that good in expressing themselves
- Some are just not thinking
- Some are confused
- Some are just learning to type and browse :)
Go easy on them nextime :)

Nevertheless, this has turned out to be a good discussion or rather a positive argument.

 :p bison

Come on friends, be realistic and practical. Dreaming is good that keeps you alive and encourages achieving the target. Day dreaming is not well. General questions should have a general reply which immediately comes up in mind. Do not drag a small post in a lengthy discussions.:(

DP,

I think it has been, as Bison put it aptly, a good discussion or a positive argument (leaving aside the first part of ). I personally would be very happy to discuss similar things in similar manner - there are lots of thing in this world which are debateable and worth discussing, but there are no mathematical answers to it. It is a healthy potrayal of various thoughts/ideologies/experiences.

I moved from a 50K plus to 30K plus job.
Why? Because there is less stress and more time for myself.
Am I happy about the decision? Yes.
Somewhere along i was told by a wise person 'do not follow the path paved with gold. Start smelling the roses'.
I have never regretted the decision.

Princeker,

I fully agree. There is really no need for Chandresh to apologize. Just because participation in this forum is free, people tend to "throw a stone", sit back and enjoy. Also, people need to develop not only good communication skills but also a sense of humor. There is absolutely no need to make mountains out of mole hills of the word "silly" used by Chandresh.

On another note, graciousness warrants that Fresher reciprocate Chandresh's unwarranted apology.

All said and done, we need to loosen up a bit and be mature about things.

This is a wonderful forum - for informaton as well as general entertainment :D

Princeker and TellaPilli

Lets be realistic. Nobody here is immature or naive not to understand the humor elements.
The problem here is we drift from the main issues and start a parallel line of discussion within the same thread. At the same time I see that there is a coterie of people to tend to support each other irrespective of the whether it is logical or not.
I am sorry to say that in last few weeks I have seen some unwarranted and out-of–context replies and counter replies in different threads which leads to chaos.
The main reason is that some people come forward to ‘Defend’ post of someone else they feel are always correct. Lets realize the fact the nobody is perfect in this world. Each one of one has its own folly. Overall the discussion then gets in a loop of gossips.

There should be only one basic guideline. – If you feel the post is not relevant to you DON’T REPLY.
Desist from useless gossips and forming a coterie. Be rational and individualistic.

why people here are so egoistic. A person just wants to know that how much salary is required to begin life in canada. He did meant that he wants a life stlye of a maharaja here:( . Instead of helping if some people find pleasure in making fun then they better keep out of this forum. This forum is meant to guide and help the new immigrants, who do not know much about ;life in canada. Anybody who is an immigrant in canada knows indian education has no recognition there. Most of then goes through labour type of jobs there. And what is wrong in doing that.
Canada respects the labour in any form here. When a person leaves india he should shed is white collar mentality too b4 comming here, as babus are not required here.
I request the membere to please share there experiences with others instead of making funs and making arguments for silly things.:)
