None. All Desi friends.
I think its more to do with the lifestyle, food, and how we live. I don't have any issues with the other communities, especially Caucasians. However, can't really relate to their lifestyle. For one, my family is vegetarian and don't quite like to explain ourselves all the time as to why we don't eat meat. Then, the joint family living in the same house thing. They just don't get it.
Not saying it's good or bad. Just couldn't really relate. I get quite well though with my neighbors and colleagues at work that are all Non-Indians and one of the amazing people I have ever come across.
I think likewise, even Goras find themselves comfortable among their own.
On a lighter side, when I landed (unmarried), I always dreamt about having a Gori girlfriend, but couldn't due to the lack of Canadian Experience.
And the mystery deepens

you only dreamed but never tried I guess
Well you have been taking it from very funny aspect of desi's. Even after 20 years, I still seem to indulge south indian style with addition to punjabi style food. So do the cacausian colleagues I know from long term sticking to their foodstyle.
I still seem to eat sushi and typical steak, pasta often from business relationship and ofcourse kids but not able to say I really enjoy the most. Not very dissatisfied but can't frequent as much my homestyle food.
No non desi friends even after 20 years, even I could say I have less and less friends as years pass by perhaps the complexity of human relationship keeps the acquaintances at check.
Im less adaptable as much my family and relatives like me to be.

To top it all, I have seen even the second generation doesn't have many Gora friends or the one belonging to a completely different community, i.e. Philipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, Irani, etc.
I have my cousins born and raised here in Canada. None of them (and their spouses) have any Gora friend. They all are encircled with either Indian or Pakistani friends. Even though they don't have any lifestyle limitations that many of us immigrants do.
It's the same with Chinese, Philipino, or other second generation.
From home front , all 'good' friends are Desis or are relatives.
Office front, I manage work done by many Goras. They make excellent drinking buddies when travelling or after hours parties. Fun to talk to and joke around.
When it comes to picnics, Bbq, kids bday, dinner with families etc. I prefer to stay with few close friends, all desis.
I have got couple of canadian friends and they are friendly and helpful.
