I have not read this thread only the mention of 0.1 %. That is a research data on direct mailer that we recieve or you can say unsolicated mail. In that marketing tool a strike rate, probability of recieving a favourable response is 0.1%, so you can take it as a scientific chance figure.
Best of luck......if you intend to use them for getting a job :)

I will not be using the Gentleman's service.
AFIK, It may help new immigrants get labour jobs in their fields without the agency comission. Also it must be noted that many big box factories need a car for going to work (like on QEW on the way to burlington, hamilton etc..), things which a new immigrant canot afford. They will have to stay in a remote place which many new immigrants may not prefer.
if the Gentleman was more open and can show us some Statistics, his business plan etc..., it may bring him more clients ( and more competitors too)

What I had intended to say was that I was just frustrated because I could not help the people who I had throught needed access to the Canadian market most. Since I work in the employment counselling field, I may have a different take on things than a job seeker. My concerns do mirror some of the posts here.

why have you not put a telephone number or office address on your website? If you have worked in business development, then I would assume you know that part of marketing is clear contact information.

Finally - are you registered with the Better Business Bureau?

Are there any Cd's that have used your services?

Seems no one CD has used us. Lets do this. this is a free offer for any member of CD only. Email me your details and we will pick 2 people next week Friday.

THERE WILL BE NO COST AND NO OBLIGATION. The only request will be to share your experiences with others if you choose to do so.

We will pick 2 people who have been looking for job for some time out of a draw. We will have 2 catagories. One for IT/Electrical and the other person needs to be Mechanical Engineeer (In manufacturing - even though that segment is hurting at this time).

I will call them personlly next week friday and lets see what happens.

Sidenote 1 :I have gone through this Gentleman's website and it is pretty vauge. No address, no Telephone number. Is this co. registered with Canada? or is it registered with bermuda? and i donot know how this Gentleman is going to get $700 when the applicant gets his job or is this based on his 0.1% probability theory ( .1% of all applicants who get a job will give him $700)
Sidenote 2 : There used to be another tamilian gentleman who did something like this. He was an engineer from REC and he did PEO exam. What he did was to give free seminars in HRDC/Ryerson/UFT to students regarding PEO exam, get their e-mail addresses and them mail to them individually that he will help them prepare PEO exam for a fee. He also had a website. He also used to infiltrate into public forums and advertise his service. I am sure that with his 0.1% probability theory he would have swindles some gullibe immigrants who are desperate thinking that if they do PEO exams they can get good jobs...

I completely agree with you. I am a new immigrant to canada, and money is very important to me. I lost $500 in a similar situation. This Gentleman's Claims seems to good to be true...My sugestion is to apply yourself.

Dear Moderator,

I do think you should delete this tread.

The gentleman in question is applying his "Rule o 1 in 1000" to promote a business .

Also when I first came here I met quite a few of theese type of "Services" and realised they are no good. Infact would like to start a thread about "How to get dped in the Canadian Job Market" profiling such compaies.
