We frequently visit Nirvana (Mississauga), Sarvana Bhavan (Scarborough) and Wangs kitchen (Mississauga). Never tried guru lakshmi yet.
For evening snacks and tiffen, We prefer Dosa corner (Mississauga) and Rajdhani sweets (near Albion). For 4$, Chana batura is quite good at Rajdhani.

When we went there (probably 3 years ago, never ventured again) - it was so dark inside, we could hardly see what was in our dishes. They served the bread and the curry at different times so either was cold before the other arrived.
We left without tipping, since no one came to collect our payment even after 15 minutes of signing the check.
Wont go again unless some one tells me that the management has changed - for better.

I agree .. went over to Brar s yesterday .........and returned disappointed ... lots of quantity & variety but no quality .... I also feel its highly over rated ...
Would prefer India's Taste , Sanjhi Rasoi any day .. Will try Doaba next ... Have not found better dal makhni then Rajdhani ... slurp ... you ve got my taste buds working now ... !!

I also don't like Brar all that much. I think their snacks are pretty good, but their main food tastes over spiced and I don't like it. I generally eat everything but the main food at Brar.
