I know of some places in GTA to buy rotis in bulk but not of any that can supply readymade home style (sans too many spices) subzees like rajmah, alu gobi etc.
of course many restaurents and sweet shops offer such deals but they are rather on the expensive side and do not provide good "value"
Does anyone know of any reliable supplier that can be used to buy 1 or dishes in bulk for the week?
Gapodi,
When you are asking specific questions like that, you should give us your location.
There are umpteen places like this all over Toronto. You can check out the classifieds too.
I would presonally suggest Nalini foods at Kaneef Crescent buildings (Burnamthorpe and Hwy-10). She makes good food and has decent rates. (She has her advt. in the classifieds).
Restaurant places which offer good deals are :
1. Rajthani foods (Albion and Islington)'
2. Many around the Hwy 10- Dundas street.
3. At JAne and Finch (Vimika in the Basement)
In most cases, home cooked food comes out costlier than food dispensed at restaurants. They increase the rate in the name of clean home made meal.
I belive that if you are in Scarborough area (and are able to stomach Sri Lankan food), there are a lot of Sri lankans who prepare very cheap Sri Lankan food (Similar to South Indian food).
Hope this helps.
Peace out

There is wholesale place on Markham road just north of McNicoll where they sell Idli and Dosa in bulk. I dont recollect the name - but if you visit that place, it wont be difficult to find. They dont have much space for eat in - and they even sell ready mix for making dosa at home...heard it is great tast and value.
