Hi,

I have sponsored my parents from India - who will arrive end of Nov.

Since, they will be covered by OHIP for doctor visitations.

In terms of the prescription drugs, will the government cover it? They are over 65 both.

Is their any known medical program for them?

They will be covered under the Ontario Drug Benefit Program (ODB). Assuming that they will have combined income below 24K, they will only have to pay $2 for each filled prescription. Many pharmacies are know to waive even this amount.
