You can go to Newcomer Information Center in Bramalea City Center. There is one job search workshop that is going to be held this Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9 to 2 but it is not at NIC. NIC can give you details of that JS Workshop.
I will edit this post as soon as I find that pamphlet.

folks, register yrselves with some temping agencies esp if u have generic skills like word-processing, typing, sales experience, reception duties experience, basic book-keeping skills, IT know-how, etc...
some skilled work agencies are Manpower & Associates, Accountemps, Admins on Call, NetTemps, etc. Look up employment agencies in the yellow pages and register with them!
U'll need SIN numbers to register tho.
And if u go to the library or grocery store, u'll find corner stalls with employment newspapers with numbers for telemarketing jobs, customer service jobs, etc. Go thru those too.
