It is difficult to get job here especially for civil engineers, but have you tried big companies like Aecon, BFC, SNV Lavalin etc.? They might have some hidden jobs. Your skill set is really very good, so you should be able to get job. Try surfing companies sites directly and you can get something. Best of luck

Hurat Honani Murat!
Raja,
As you are from Andhra, you might be knowing Dr. Visvanatha - he is in Calgary and was working with UMA Engineering. I don't have his contact just now, but will give you soon. He was senior person at UMA and retired couple of years ago. He might help you.
Thanks.

Yes brother getting a job is difficulat in Canada. My humble request to you would be to simply find out which are the comapanies in Canada in your field. Please do not send Resume by email without being asked for. Just talk to the relevant Manager in the company and then if he asks you to send the Resume u send it.
Cold calling is the best way to get a job here. Dont rely on jobs posted on various websites , they are bogus ( 90 percent of them).

Hi,
My sincere advise (since in Canada the only thing which is free and always available !!!) is get yourself an EIT, Engineer-in-Training from Professional Engineers of Ontario. You may get more information from the website: http://www.peo.on.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK
Once you have that included in your resume, companies will prefer to hire you.

You are the right candidate for Calgary.
If somebody tells you that it is cold in Calgary - give him a cold shoulder!
Did you know Alberta gets maximum sunshine hours in Canada?
Did you know the snow fall in Alberta is less than 25% of Toronto?
