Medical, RPRF & Passport Req March 2009

As after the request for updated documents.. CIC New delhi recently
sent me medical and passport requesting letter. Also the RPRF.
Now I have 60 days to send everything but my son is in US rite now
I am confused as to how should I move ahead with the process?

Medical is possible to send from US but how can he send passport
from US to India as hes studying there at present?

Is there anyway he can get the visa stamped in US or any possible
way to send to India safely?

Would appreciate your help.

Please ask him to take a set of copies of the pages for his files. Then use a ziplock bag to seal the Passport and courtier the same to you there in India. You do the needful at your end and then carry the same to him in USA and give the same personally. Alternately return the same when you receive it from CIC New Delhi, by courier.

Many have done the same, in this manner. Yes, he will be without a Passport for the duration and carries the risk of not having it on person.

I hope the CIC officials don't make any trouble as he being in US and
his passport in India?

Also I would like to know since I am the Principal applicant do I need to
enter the country first or he can go from US before me to get his PR card?

First of all, it is illegal to send Indian passport by mail.
Passport must always be carried in person.
Refer any Indian consulate website, for instance -

Do NOT under any circumstances attempt to mail Indian passport, courier or otherwise.

Any foreign nation that has an Embassy or an High Commission that occupies a place in that country is considered as situated as an enclave in that country and is part of the nation to which it belongs. For instance, the LOCATION of the Embassy as situated in Ottawa in considered as part of India, and is a sovereign state there and is an enclave situated in Canada.

When we send our Passport for stamping of an Indian Visa by courier and they send it back to us by mail or send an Indian Passport renewal or obtaining a new one BY MAIL, it is considered as mailing it from a foreign country to India and vice versa. If that is convenient to the Indian Government to do all such acts but considers your mailing your Indian Passport to Canadian High Commission in India is ILLEGAL, is ridiculous, in my opinion, of the first order., except for the fact that you are in a foreign country without a document that provides you with the PROOF and validity of your stay here, during the time it is away and you are out of possession of such a document. I would consider this as draconian law which is imposed upon you and us, without taking into consideration of the current needs of the people. This is putting a lot of people in a predicament and when others asked how one accomplished the feat of completing the process, you see no more response from the people who succeeded in such an act or a feat. I will provide you with reference here in this CD website to explore further.

Alternately, you can drop it in the mail boat in Detroit with Indian Stamps or take the same to United nations in the New york and post the same at that location to the Canadian High Commission in India with INDIAN STAMPS and as Paque Bot and consider that the same was done as LEGALLY as one can do, without breaking such a law, imposed upon you by the Indian Government. {Of course you cannot get back into Canada as you just mailed it}

OR

Take it or send it to the Foreign Affairs department in Ottawa and ask them to forward the same to their counterparts in India by the diplomatic pouch. The effect of dropping it off to their department is the same as sending it to India, and you have not broken any laws as is required by the Indian Government in their publication. Please see the link provided in the post above, which many of us do not know about or have not considered. Also the CIC in India just mails itback to you. I think they use the Auzie wool.

Hence the SAUCE.

After my last post regarding the req sent by Consulate for updated
papers in June 08 n recent one in March they sent me medical forms
and letter stating to send them passports and RPRF.

I sent them everything right on time but after that I have no news~

Does anyone know as to how much time it take to get back the
passports stamped??

Also when I check E-CASE it shows IN PROCESS and inside
It shows we have received medicals but no details of passport whether
received or not.

I was just worried if everything is working well in there.
