I have received a letter requesting medicals, RPRF and passport. I have been given 45 days to send it all. I am in India and can do the medicals. I will also send the RPRF.
But I need to travel abroad on business for a period of 45 days next week. I do not have the time to submit the passport and get it back. So I don't know if requesting a small extension for submitting the passports will be accepted. Surely, there must have been similar experiences before. Please share your opinion. I am a bit worried.
I don't believe CHC extends the visa stamping deadline.
Usually the only way to communicate with them during application processing is via fax.
By the time you fax and they get to it, most of the 45 day window would have passed.
The best course of action for you would be to postpone your business trip.

I support what Pratickm said:
Either you complete the trip just before the deadline and submit the passport or postpone the trip.
Any other approaches to this problem may cause unknown results you may not want to get.
