Hi CDs

I am planning to enter Canada in July. Opening a bank account is on the agenda. Please share if any one has experienced service of ICICI Bank (Largest private bank in India) in Canada.

I shall be thankful.

I met with a personal Banker at the Brampton Branch and he was really nice. I would recommend you to use them

Aly Azam,

The personal banker who wants business from you has stiff targets and will make you feel like you are in heaven and a beautiful fairy is taking real good care of you. ;)

Once you become a customer, the personal bankers will become a devil, :p .

After this happens, you will open canadiandesi and look for this thread, to write about your experience.

ICICI BANK SUCKS. :down:

Cheers,

Ayaskant.

Success

To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded. Bessie Stanley

Worst Customer Service Ever! Yuck! Each Customer Rep is worse than the next, but the Branch Manager takes the cake when it comes to incompetent customer service.

Like a previous poster said, when they want your business they talk to you, once they have it, you're dead to them.

My Customer Service Rep at ICICI gave me horrible service and when he joined Citibank, sent me an email telling me about Citibank Services. I sent him a reply telling him that if his customer service at Citibank was going to be as shoddy as it was at ICICI, I'd be better off closing all my Citi Accounts!!!

ICICI Bank gives very high interest rates on the savings account, better than any other bank in Canada.

A newcomer can benefit by taking the credit card from ICICI Bank and build credit history.

I have an ICICI Bank Savings account and I do only internet banking. So far I do not have any complaints.
