It is a typical Indian Bank. No professional approach. Whether it is the bank or the Customer Service. If you have problem with Customer Service they will ask you to call the next and the reason System is Down.
Only reason why you keep a account is better interest rates than any other Canadian Bank otherwise they suck.
If you are now going to put in a large sum into the account where the interest will matter - go to a Canadian Bank. Also ICICI has no ATM anywhere else than their Branch.

Please never ever think of opening an a/c with ICICI,they are the neo capitalist, they are here to serve the people their main motto is to make good money at the cost of the customer.
ICICI real time sucker.
My 2 cents to fellow CD's.
It all depends on individual priorities when choosing the right bank for right needs.
As far as me, i always choose (even when i was in USA) other systems to send money to india (you can check in CD classifieds for details).
With no transaction fees, no conversion losses and safe.
As far as the interest rates, depends on individual needs. I send money to india so that it will grow faster than here (exost office around 9%)..
Hope this will help people who are in my situtation.

Stay away from ICICI Bank. They don't have good process in place and the customer service sucks. I liked Citibank very competitive but expensive as their conversion rates are not good.
ICICI Bank is better than money2india(Times of India).
