Wonder what is more obscene - A Canadian lady dressed in revealing clothes in summer, or Jaylalita wrapped in full saree with crowds people falling at her feet and offering her sarees while she takes those gifts without any hesitation (as seen on TV).

Just my view

Mods:
Could you please take a look at the comment of Meghal.
Does not seem to be related in anyway. i donot want this statement of Meghal to explode into another "Tit for Tat" thread. I am not commenting anything as promised in my PM.

Practise wat u preach. It'll help u tk, if u sit down and think about what you say that ticks off people rather than what others are doing to ridicule u. to me it seems more like ppl dont agree with your views and you cant take it.

Maybe we should start a section called "TK" and it can go on an on and u can keep answering to each poster who disagrees with you in that section/thread,no matter wat the discussion...that to me seems like the only way threads will not digress from the main topic.

I guess there will come a time, if there already is not, as to how much we are willing to accomodate someone with a highly dismal(to put it verrrrry mildly) view of the things around. We may also have to decide if we are to muzzle the saner people on the forum inorder to humor such unreasonable lines of thinking. Is that really going to do the site itself any good?

The movies made by the Tamil film industry (tollywood) are more obscene then any soft porn hollywood movie. I am sure we all have seen the dances. Why do the women dancing heave their chests, why does the camera and sunglasses wearing hero always inch down to the chest and navel and why is water splashed and a ball or baloon thrown at the heroine's chest? If all this doesn't embarass desi's then a mini-skirt wearing canadian shouldn't too. Sorry Mods, I know I have gone off topic but this whole thing about revealing dresses and bad canadian culture stuff really peeves me off. As they say in hindi, hum kaunse dhoodh ke dhule hai.

And yea, those people who say desi's get embarassed by revealing dresses and/or short skirts, have you been lately to any Indian metro city? And yea, didn't the cops in Chennai arrest a few people in a night club cuz they were smooching and that is as usual against Indian culture?

disclaimer: I am not against you TK. I admire a lot of your posts.

Guys

This thread joins hundreds of previous threads which have been ruined in the past in the same manner. If we really want this section to be of any worth we need to start practicing some self discipline in our posts.. The Mods can keep deleting posts but whats the point ...you can keep posting and we can keep deleting...and the cycle will never end.

Who takes the thread on a tangent ? .... the finger pointing can go on till we turn blue with no conclusions. We have a precious resource here and sadly very few are really making use of it .

The choice is really yours how you utilize your time and this site to help you ....you can learn from others and enhance you life or keep mud slinging over stupidest things in life.

TK,
You asked the following question

here is your answer from your own post...

If you bring reference to tamil culture in this unrelated thread, it is bound to get challenged. Almost all your posts carry a strong tamil theme ...no one brings their native culture in discussions as much as you do. So please refrain and stick to the topic.
I respect all indian cultures but lets discuss culture in a separate thread.

Now, can all of us bring some objectivity back ?
