Charie,
Thanks for the input.,
My point was that , this particular individual was a top guy in the country that heworked and he has european experience. He has an MBA and 2 bachelor degrees. I just felt that 40 K was a bit less to call it a sucess.
OTOH, There are a lot of people who are with these kind of professional qualification and exp. and who still have not been able to get beyond $10 or $12 an hour. WR to those kind of people, He is a sucess story.
Let us allow the author to answer to our posts.
My point is that you canot be a professional with one degree, no foreign experience ,earn 70K and then say that the Author is sucessful in Canada.

Each to his own, TK. Maybe it's time you stopped worrying about others and start focussing on what you want out of life and Canada.

DT,
Not to contradict you, i am looking into that aspect. In the meantime i also thought that i will share my views with like minded people and who can get some thing out of my views (if at all any). That is why i am so involved in this forum. Nothing to gain personally by being involved in this forum except some good personal friends like JRF, Sankaracharya, SS, Lana, S pai, Babuji, Samit, Pramod etc... and a lot of screen mane people.

He may be earning 40K but look ahead..
There may be more oppurtunities to grow and may end up with more big incentives... what not..

What do you think of his achivement in Canada?
Professionally he has done not so good. Getting just 40K of salary (which even a roof installer in Canada can exceed twice). Would his experiences in Canada count when he leaves the country? Do you think taht was his qualifications and experiences 40K was a good salary?
But for the main reason of his coming here (Canadian passport) he has suceeded.
I invite people to discuss their views.

Guys, why are we conducting a postmartem on what this immigrant has achieved and what he has not. The guy says clearly that he doesn't consider his immigration as succesfull till now but is satisfied with what he has done so far. Lets leave it at that.

Agreed completely!

THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF AUTO-LOCKING THE SUCCESS STORIES SECTION IS TO PREVENT THREADS LIKE THESE!

This is the stupidest thing I've heard! Who cares what others think. Let this person analyze their trials and tribulations themselves!

DON'T start posts analyzing success stories. If you have any direct questions for this person, PM a moderator!
