Hi Tuli, I also do free consultancy in astrology and I have found that there is infact a lot of scope if you want to make it as a career. I don't charge as I have my other things for my living and career and I do it as my hobby according to my time and interest at present.
One things I noted very strongly in most of the people horoscope who came here is that they are mostly in Rahu mahadasa period or in the antardasa period of rahu and its aspect or position in twelth house, other things are also indicative of immigration and foreign travel but this plante is very important. Struggle, success, time period of struggle or continuing struggle, realization of one's fault after coming here, immidiate success after coming here, realization of previous good/bad deeds all is some what connected with these plantes and is somehow having a strong correlation with our deeds and ultimate journey towards self realization.

Is it? I was told that when I migrated to Canada, my Shani Sadesati had started. (I was told this 3 yrs after migrating to Canada) Meeting the astrologer was by pure chance. She happens to be colleague of my sisters. She had just finished her M.A. in Astrology from University of Bombay. I am sure if I had migrated from India, i would have been advised not to migrate.

When Saturn arrives in the sign that is in the 12th house from the natal moon (that is, just previous to the moonsign) one enters into sade sati and main mahadasa undergoing can be different..... I mentioned that most of the horoscope(not all) I checked have influence of rahu in there horoscope at the time of immigration.

I find the topic of astrology and psychics fascinating. Does anybody have any positive experiences to relate (meaning when what the astrologer told them came true or any remedy which worked) especially from astrologers in Toronto.
Here is my experience:
I visited a psychic once in a psychic fair (paid $40) just out of curiousity. He told me some of my personal qualities but half of them were not right. The questions I asked him were answered vaguely and predictions have not come true. But at least he did not try to extract more money from me by making up some story like I have heard many other psychics do.
Which is the most "pure" science : palm reading, face reading, tarot cards, astrology, numerology?
I mean everybody in Bollywood seems to be spelling their names weirdly nowadays. Vivek becomes Viveik, Rakesh becomes Rakeysh. Does this all really work? What about Vaastu Shastra and Feng Shui ? Any experience with that?
For instance many people are born at the same time in different parts of the world. Why dont they have the same fate?

I guess you have got some wrong impression about astrologers here in India. Actually you are also right, since many astrologers, just for the sake of money, keep predicting futures without having complete knowledge of the subject. And in a way these guys defame astrology and also astrologers.
My2cents, people born at same time at different places have different futures. Future depend on Desh, Kaal and Environment. Eg. if a person is born in a politicians family and has chances of becoming leader, he can be a prime minister some day, but a person with same stars born in a slum area can become a leader in his slum area since his environment is different.
