You charge by the hour and you should be able charge on their Visa/Master/Amex cards.
You should also provide special services like Jadu Tona/ Black Magic/Yantrams.

I know somebody who came to Canada in April 2004. Back home he was a lawyer in Punjab-haryana High Court but before coming he learnt some astrology for few months from somebody. Afetr coming here, he did not want to study and become a lawyer so he picked up factory job..... that was his choice. Anyway, he also started practising Astrology side by side. First he made some free Kundalis for about 20 peopel through his 'Kundali' software which he had brought from India then slowly he started charging.
Now as of today: He does not do a job, he is doing Astrology only as full time profession, he does consultation from his home, he charges $31 cash for about half hour consultation, Kundali making is little extra and if any 'Upaaya or Gems' that is also extra. He is not bothered about taxes moreover he is getting good CCTB because wife also does not work and earning in cash.
Fringe benefits: Some of his 'clients' are like Furniturewala, electronic shopwala etc....so he keeps getting free or heavily discounted items from them from time to time.
FYI: I have heard that Pandit Trivediji (whose Astrology prediction comes in some ethnic newspaper) charges $251 per sitting for about half an hour.

Well thanx guys for the overwhelming response. As for the query put in regarding the planets responsible for immigration they are Moon, Jupiter and Rahu plus some other considerations.
Secondly the scope of any knowledge changes with time, place and environment. So its always good to check before making any move. Astrology is also a special study which keeps changing its meaning with different cultures and countries.For example a doctor from India will not be considered a doc in USA/Canada till she has cleared some conditions.So u will agree that an astrologer also has a right to know where he is going.
Next, the black magic and tona/totkas are not possible in Canada as it involves lot of things which cant be performed there like throwing something on roundabouts or in river water or going to cemetries, etc.
As for Charlie I need ur date, time and place of birth plus the question u wish to know. Only one "GENUINE" question please.
