For instance many people are born at the same time in different parts of the world. Why dont they have the same fate?

I have heard mixed stories about astrology, psychics.
1) Good story - One of my gora friends told me that when she was going thru tough times, she visited a psychic. This psychic does not allow you to ask questions but you can record what he says. So my friend went to him, taped whatever he said but kept the tape in a bank safety locker and forgot about it. After two yrs for some reason she opened the locker and heard the tape. She said she was amazed that her two yrs that went by were totally predicted on the tape.
2) Neutral Story - I visited Shakuntaladevi (Human Computer of the world) by paying some very good money. Her past predictions were so so . i did not find anything that stood out that I can say she knew what she was talking. Everything was general. The only thing that stuck with me was her prediction of how long I and my husband will live. We have no way of knowing if it is going to be true.
3) Not-so-good - My grandfather was a considered a great astrologer. He prepared kundalis for all his grandkids me included and told his daughter i.e. my mother briefly about each grandkid, what they will do, how successful they will be in their life etc. My mother after 45 yrs is questioning some of the things her father predicted about her kids.

i belive astrology is mathamatics of planet.I was not beliving before 2 3 years.But when i was trying for USA and i ask one of astrologer about that and he saw my kundli that "you will get succed to go to usa but you would be going to Canada and you won't settle there you have to come back to india and then you can settle there in canada".Rightnow i am in canada and i went back to india to get married and once i come back from there now things going settle i guess.Still i am not sure.But astrology is intresting subject.

You are right my2cent, an astrologer can let you know about the nature of your journey. Like the astrologer you asked told you that u will go to ur native place and will finally go to another country.
Astrology is mathematics upto some level. But one has to have a good memory to remember all the possible permutations & combinations a horoscope can make.
Lana05, you will come across many such astrologers who guarantee that they know astrology but reality comes out to be different. Sometimes some clients come to me and tell that some astrologer told them these remedies, and when you look at the remedies, they don't make any sense. But those clients money, time and faith all get wasted. It really hurts to see such persons.

Your corelation of rahu is probably true, in my case too it has played its role, more interesting is for me too my sade sati started just at the time of migration. But in my case the sadesati is in one of its stage where it does more good than bad, and moreover sani is "Yogkarak " too , probably that also played its part.

For certain Ascendants called "Lagna" in astrology language, certain planets are acting as sort of supporting or assisting planets.
For Tula, and vrushabh lagna both governed by the planet Venus"sukra", this "sani" plays the role of yogkarak
Planets ruling the 4th & 5th house, in Tula lagna, and planet ruling the 9th & 10 th house in Vrushabh lagna is Sani acting as " Yogkarak"
The sadesati cycle is bit more technical to understand , and shall not make more sense unless you understand certain basics.
In short it is natures way of making one realise the certain realities of life in a bit tough language.
