Sorry if this is a re-post - but I could swear I posted this 2 days ago. Maybe my post didn't get through. On the other hand, if a moderator deleted it - then I apologize for re-posting it - though I don't remember using any abusive words or anything like that.

Essentially, I need some suggestions on getting a mobile phone. I am new to Toronto - just been here 5 days now. I can get a prepaid phone plan, but that's not very useful and is expensive if I use the phone normally. It's useful only if I severaly restrict my phone usage.

Are there any service providers with plans for newbies who don't yet have a credit history in Canada?

Thanks for any tips/suggestions you may have.
