Hi

Can anyone please advise on where to start looking for a job in States. I am a Canadian citizen and currently working with the government at Ministry of Health.
Is there any agency i can rely on.....please advise!

The best way of searching jobs in USA is to search within US based job sites. Enter the query in Google and a plethora of US job sites listing is given. You being a citizen of Canada and also working for the Govt. should know this as good as anybody else if not more...

Well, I am aware off that. I have done several searches but have failed to find a company willing to sponsor for H1 visas. Most of the job postings generated by the searches was restricted to US citizens.

Do you know off any websites that is strictly for foreign professionals.

The fiscal year for H1B quota is from Oct 1st - Sept 30th. H1B 2006 year's quota is already over. 2007 quota is open for filing from April 2006 with which u can start working from Oct.2006.

I noticed the following at the h1base website. Does it mean that H1B available for people with masters degree from US university?

The best suggestion I can give you is to develop network in US and find a sponsor through friends, relatives which is a lot easier.

The US master's degree holder H1B quota is still available for FY2005 and also FY 2006. Rest of the quota for 2006 is already exhausted.
