Dear Massood Ji,
Here's my situation:
Me and my husband immigrated to Canada two years ago and now have annual family income of $50,000. So we thought of sponsoring my parents and my brother.
Sponsoring parents is fine but I need some advice on bringing my brother here. There are confusions on how should we do that: Here are a few options:
He is 23 and has been a regular student ( though repeated a couple of classes) and is now doing LLB first year, and is in love with a 26 year old MA English girl.
Should I apply him with my parents as a dependent child? But what if he gets married in the processing time? He wont be able to wait because the girl is allready three years his senior. But if they both wait, would this be the easiest option? Will his age at the time of immigration or his repeated classes wont have him rejected?
Should we apply for him independently, showing work experience of a couple of years? his marks add up to 68. But by the time immigration comes his marks would be increased as he wil be having a Masters spouse and double bachelor degree himself.
Should I call him here on Student visa and then he should apply immigration from here independently? After what time can he apply after coming here as a student?
Can a simple employment letter from a big company serve as employment offer and get him much needed 10 marks, or does the employer need all that HRDC involvement?
Can a person waiting for immigration apply for student visa?
Should a person disclose to the visa officer that his sister is a canadian PR?
Please help. I want everything for him.... immigration education and love of his life.
Thanks.
