Does anyone have good HR contacts in some of the large MNCs in India?
I am specifically looking for a HR contact in HP (India).
I am planning to move back to India and would like to get a feel about the overall market in my field before making a final decision.

Sorry guys for not providing specific information. I wasn't sure if readers would respond to my query.
I have been here for over 13 years, done my B.Comm in India and the rest of my qualifications are from here: MBA, Canadian Securities Course and Derivatives Course accompanied by several specialised courses in Market Research.
My area of specialisation is Market Research and I have worked in telecommunications, financial services and am currently working in the energy sector. My career is going great with a typical North American salary and lifestyle, will probably enter management in a year or two. However, I am planning to consider moving back to India due to personal reasons (family pressure). Considering the growing opportunities in India, I believe I am not making any sacrifice in career opportunities, may be to some extent in quality of life and salary ($).
I have contacted a number of recruiters in India and they have shown a keen interest in my qualifcations and experience. However, they are not ready to forward my resume to their clients if I am not present in India. One of the recruiters told me about a Market Research position in Hewlett-Packard in India but did not forward my resume. So I was hoping that some Canadian Desis would be willing to provide some contact information to me.
From what I gather, India offers attractive salaries and a vast number of growth opportunities. Please feel free to express your thoughts and if you have some relevant information for me, that would be great.

Instead of contacting head-hunters or recruitment agencies there, I would directly get in touch with the companies' HR people. For me, the best approach worked to be in direct touch with HR people at companies in India, by phone or email (in fact sometimes via yahoo chat too!!!), and then presenting myself in interview. Depending heavily on recruiters is not a good idea, in fact, i wont go for that route initially or perhaps at all.
I dont think getting a job for u wud be a problem, salary may be a constraint though. If u r already used to 100k plus kind of package, u may not get satisfied easily or initially. looking at ur post, looks like u r willing to compromise on that.
