I am right now in Hyderabad and received a PR Card last week. I came across this site and am now confused if i should immigrate. Here are my questions. Please help me answer

How is the scope for Network(system) administrators/system analyst. I am a MCSE Windows 2003, CCNA, CITRIX Certified, PMP certified with 6 years total work experience and right now working as Project manager in Hyderabad India.

Do i have a good chance of getting a job. How much pay can i expect to start with and after end of 3 years in Canada.

Where in Canada (region) should i look for jobs.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

I will be 27 in July. I am single now, plan to mary in 2 years time. After tax i get 40k in hand per month in India.
Here are my projected expenses in 1-2 year's time
Car installment 17K (for Honda City)
Petrol 4K
House Rent 12K
Thats 43K plus living which will notbe more than 10k

So total 53k i will need. Above that i will need do save, so i need like 75k which i wont get at 10-12% which i get in my company every year

Can i get the same standard of living in Canada in 3 years.

Hmmm...are'nt there other cars that are cheaper than Honda City? Or is it a rat race?

U r still renting?
Man, u need to buy an apartment or a house. Banks are ready to shell out loan for someone like u. Instead of paying rent, u could have your own place and pay the mortgage. If u leave India, u can always rent it out or sell for a profit.

See if you can take time off from your work (payless). Try it out in Canada. If it works good, that's great. If not, u still have your job. At least u made a trip to North America.

A friend of mine had more or less the same kind of profile and was making about the same kind of money. Its been three months since he landed in canada and is delivering pizzas as of now.

Intrested in delivering pizzas, get your passport stamped with a canadian visa.

Take my advice and stay put where you are.
