let me first tell u my time line :

Applied : Dec 2003
AOR : Dec 2003
IA with medicals : August 2004

With medicals they wrote that they dont require any Personal interview and will finalise my application without Interview and ask me to submit my Current employement record with Indian police clearance certificate.......

PCC sent to Buffalo in September 2004 as indian consulate took 1 month for it......after a long wait i faxed them for the further procedure in Dec 2004 and they replied me in march that they didnt got my PCC sent by me in september and ask me send it again within 2 months.......i was really frustrated at that time....

i got new PCC from Indian consulate and sent it to buffalo in the end of march and till the date i m waiting for any reply from Buffallo??????/

Pls guide me if i can do anything in this case....

about my present status in canada they forward my visitor visa application to local office since last 5 months and didnt contact me yet for any results.....they sent me a letter indicating that i can stay in canada till my file is in process in local office with my valid passport.....

i dont know wat to do now??????/ m really frustrate.......

any one else with same situation pls contact ......

pls guide Mr. masood ji if u have any solution for this kind of situations......

A friend of mine with Interview waiver did his medicals in Nov 2004 and got his passport request letter yesterday. You may want to send a fax to Buffalo asking them for the status for your application. Another useful tool is the CAIPS notes which can give you a somewhat better understanding of where your application stands.

I have started my husband's paper work for a PR status they were filed on 7th Dec and the process started on Jan 25th 05. I got a letter from them mid Feb saying his paper work is being sent to Buffalo for process then the process time was 5 months.

Can any one suggest what the time line is for approval of his PR status he is in US on an EAD so holds an Indian Passport.

How can we followup with Buffalo of the application status his medicals /FP /FBI clearance all are done and sent with the application.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

what is CAPIS?
