foreign degree approval by canadian university?

Hi,
I have Engineering degree(Computer science) from india.I am looking for a job in Canada.Somebody told me that I need to get my degree approved from any of the canadian uninversity.I am in Ontario.

Can you please let me know which all universities can approve this ? And what procedure would I need to follow to get my degree approved.

There is no university can approve your degree.
May be your somebody was talking about PEO.
PEO is an approvel for foreign engineers in Ontario.

I have gone through that link, but What I was talking abt is :

I don't think one needs t go for PEO if we want taht degree to be approved for gettinga job only.I don't know whether I understand that correctly or not?

IMO it is waste of money with UoT. That is not going to help you in job search. PEO is the only solution or a equivalent solution is OCATT.org . Ask them to send you form from both places and decide.
