Toronto already has an existing organized Carrom Association.

Canada is now on the international map in the Carrom scene.
Louis Fernandes of Toronto came fifth at the recently concluded Champion of Champions tournament on the 21st Oct 2013 in New Delhi.

Here are the results.
1st - K Srinivas - India ( 2 slams)
2nd - Chamil Cooray - Sri Lanka
3rd - D N Fernando - Sri Lanka ( 2 slams)
4th - Yogesh Pardesi - India ( 1 slam)
5th - Louis Fernandes - Canada ( 2 slams)
6th - Dr Sivram Gowdagere - USA
7th - Nazam Hassan - Maldives
8th - Shafee - Maldives

A total of 8 slams ( Break to finishes) were accomplished with the first slam of the tournament by Louis Fernandes of Canada.
