Was wondering is there any way i can take a internet connection from one computer to another from upper level to basement . Will it anyways effect the compatability of the computer which is giving away this connection.
Do i need any special gadget or just a simple cable will do already a basic cable goes down in the basement.

hi Mohanjeet,

I assume you have cable connection... If you cable provider support and your modem has USB port for internet you could use that for computer which is near to modem and for other computer you could use Ethernet cable to your cable modem and if your modem doesn't support USB then you would need a switch/hub.
