Basic Cable channels

Before yesterday I was getting channels 1-70 n brampton. I had basic cable from rogers. However now I am only getting channels 1-28 and 59 onwards. When called them up, they said basic cable only covers these channels and there mayb some error why I was getting extra channels before.

Plz tell me is this true that basic cable only covers the above mentioned channels? Otherwise I am gonna miss the world cup

Yes. You had been getting ultimate by mistake.
If you want , upgrade your cable to "Ultimate". It will cost you $30 (incl. Taxes) extra per month. Try to call Rogers to see if they are having any offers which can be cancelled in 3 months for no penalty.
