I just rcvd my request for passport and plan to land in March.

I want to sponsor my parents asap. Will i be able to do that after receiving the PR card and how long does the process generally take. I presume i need to qualify financially. Will my financial history in the US for past 4 years qualify me or not??

you have to meet LICO ( Low Income Cut-off ) figures to sponser your parents depending upon your family, and your previous financial history in US won't help you in this case as it only depends upon money you are making while residing in Canada.
