Rather than French repression, It is a typical attitude of many of you kinds of Hindus that creates more hurt burn for need of separate home country for Sikhs. You guys forget so easily that In first place why Sikh religion got its birth,
It was timid nature of majority of Hindus. This enable Mugals at that time to rape, kidnap your wife’s & daughters . So at least to fight back on this the religion was born. Now you guys can make only jokes & hates Sikhs. God willing, opportunity lost 50 years back should come in my lifetime. I will be most happy then...

Before making this silly remark, did you bother to notice that on the other thread there are many non Sikhs (including myself) who are defending the right of sikhs to adhere to their religion? If you have a problem with OTN's comment and want to make these kind of remarks, take it offline.

This thread is about Indians in Saudi Arabia.

Religious freedom in Saudi Arabia

NEW DELHI: A leading Christian organisation Wednesday appealed to Saudi Arabia to show mercy to an Indian Christian convicted of "spreading Christianity" in the Islamic kingdom.

Brian O'Connor of Karnataka was arrested in Saudi Arabia in March on charges of spreading Christianity. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison and 300 lashes, the All India Catholic Union (AICU) said.

Besides appealing to King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud "to generously give clemency to O'Connor", AICU president John Dayal has sought the intervention of Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam in the matter.

"Brian's arrest and now the sentence of a jail term and lashing have caused deep concern amongst the Christian community in India and the Indian community abroad," Dayal said in his letter.

"We appeal to the government of India to urgently intercede with the government of Saudi Arabia for the immediate release of (Brian)," he said.

U didnt tell me u have wife n daughters. Did u file FIR againt Mugals? Wat this guy talking abt?
