Hi,

If anybody have experince sending money direct to Bank Account from Toronto , give me how to send...

Use State Bank of India, if the account is in SBI Branch in India, 24hr service otherwise three days.
Cheap also.

Thank you for your response... I have account in SBI India...but the thing is we have to go personally to SBI to do this and for that we have to take day off from work that is the main problem and SBI open Monday to Friday ONLY.

Do you have idea about this icici ?

My main thing is I want to send money from Toronto to bank account in India without taking day off from work (09.00 am to 05.00 pm Mon-Fri) to do this job done. I don't mind to do this on Saturday.

Check with SBI whether they are open on Saturday, I believe their Mississuaga Branch should be open , their phone # is 416 865 0414 (Toronto)

It takes ten minutes in the branch, fill the form and give cash. You need not take day off.

ICICI service charges are higher than SBI, though their is better. But still SBI is better when you calculate the total money paid.

In SBI, draft above Rs10000/- is free, there are no service charges

Whenever you go for a draft or money transfer remember to
have the following in your hand:
1. Bank Account name and address in India and account #
2. Your driving licence or any other personal identity card
