Let me give ya my 2 cents worth ( for all its value )
.) YOu will be eligible for a work permit immediately. PR process will have to be carried out in the usual manner
.) No... "Aap phal khaiye, ped ginne ki kya zaroorat hai" is the attitude shown by the authorities. This means that she should be able to show "assets/income" to be able to sponsor you for 3 years. If she is not working it will be her family that will be sponsoring you and..."aur kya kahein hum"...Welcome Mr. Ghar Jamai
.) Read reply #1.
.) yes it is
.) Usual time. And now-a-days authorities have become cautious abt "marriage-based-immigration". When the authorities come and verify ur antecedents and all aspects of yoru marital life, be prepared for some tough questions ! Other than that, there should not be any complications.
.) I think its 18 ?
.) This is more of a question of your temperment. Do you love the girl or is it just a "samjhauta" ? Do you feel you can spend the rest of your life with her ? If yes then go for it.. IF not then hold yourself back. There is very little to be gained and much can be lost ( and I am speaking from experience...Thats 'cos I nearly made this MISTAKE 5 years ago!)
.) No you cant.. You will be "under" the care of your wife (until you get your PR status).
Hope this helps
