I have some income from India to report. Can anybody tell me what exchange rate I have to use to convert the income into Canadian dollars for tax year 2013.

If you need to convert your income or deductions to Canadian dollars, you can get the exchange rates from the Exchange Rates page of the Bank of Canada Web site . It provides exchange rates for various periods (e.g., daily, monthly, annually).

Income earned outside Canada : Use the Bank of Canada exchange rate that was in effect on the day you received the income . If the amount was paid at various times throughout the year, you can use the average annual rate.
