As one among the faceless 1.3 billion, only yearning that something good happens for the country.
But it seems to be only going from bad to worse.
Though not born in 50s, surely understand that it was decade of euphoria after getting Freedom. It was also an age of innocence where people were not after money. People pursued excellence whether at work or in studies.
Things started changing slowly from late 60s, when corruption started set everywhere and inefficiency came to be accepted. As school going and college student did expect our leaders to be more responsible and thought things may change.
It never did and my children too had gone through the same, probably worse.
As things stand it may become only worst during my grandchildren generation.
We are not for any "ism", neither capitalism or communism. Just because Soviet Union failed the West need not gloat. They too have only more lethal model as far as human civilization is concerned.
At least people like AK assume ownership for whatever is happening and try to swim against the current even if they may not be successful.

Muthalik got kicked out of BJP within 6 hrs of joining the party. Here is the reality. It was work of the Karnataka BJP unit. They did not inform the central BJP leaders abt his induction. State BJP president Joshi is contesting from Dharwad city for the Lok Sabha. Muthalik had indicated that he would contest against Joshi as a sri Ram Sena candidate. Joshi got cold feet and inducted Muthalik into BJP in a hurry without consulting central leaders.
Pramod Muthalik is against Muslim and Women. He has about 45 cases pending against him. Modi is getting support from Muslims in Gujarat. He will not let go that vote because of Muthalik. Section of Muslims and Women would have voted against BJP if Muthalik was admitted to BJP. Congress would have taken up the issue and blasted BJP. Since the central leaders were kept in the dark abt his induction, it was a quick response by central leaders to kick him out. Good that they did. IMO, its a matter of time that he will be in BJP, probably after the elections.
