Lies, fake promises, public dramas, fake claims and U-Turns is your language. Making things up (or falling to the trap of sold media) while you are sitting in some corner of Canada. Thats not what Delhi see him as. Go and live in Delhi you will know.
What he does is expose, press conference, Fast, sitting on roads to do dharna, writing on auto rickshaws, active on social media, openly protest against central govt., big corporates and even resign. That is what I meant. You are in nit-picking business, so will only close tunnel view point. I understand.
Of-course he/she knows what Delhi thinks, for he/she knows how Gujrat does by sitting so far away. The problem with all Sanghis is they have very tiny view of India, and they form a bubble around themselves with it. Looking outside is not their forte. This is what's happening with Surti. Didn't they do it in 2004 with India Shining all over the place? Wasn't this Modi guy their mascot for the last elections? Then, why did they lose?
Modi won repeatedly in Gujrat for the same reasons why Congress did in Delhi. Doesn't mean he's invincible. Good, Delhi didn't think so during the last Assembly Elections, and the clear winner emerged out of Kejriwal. If you say it was BJP, then answer why didn't form the Govt.? Yeah right! didn't want currupt Congress support. Oh! They sure offered their support to AAP. No? Ask Delhites how they view Kejriwal, and ask them what do they think of the (paid) media tamasha nowadays. You'll get your answers.
What lies? He delivered what he promised. Doesn't matter if it was for the upcoming LS elections or not. His constituency is happy with him - all that matters, and the whole Political class feels threatened. Tell me why? And, if you're saying BJP is not threatened and scared, then my dear friend you're living in a 'la-la' land.
The most currupt institution in Delhi 'MCD' is being run by BJP for years. It remained what it is - the most currupt. Why not spearhead the change on the Municipal level? Tell me what's in BJP's plan to change the very functioning of MCD? Ask Delhites and they will fill your ears with the currupt and horror stories. I have never heard Modi speaking about it - now when he is the messiah of BJP and Sanghis. Are you sure Modi is not getting kickbacks for the so-called development work in the esteemed Gujarat? Also, why when BJP was in the power in Centre, they didn't open all/any curruption files of Congress, despite yelling from rooftop of doing so? Why they didn't open 1984 Delhi riots cases when in power? What was the economic reality and result during their reign? And last, why did they lose despite India was shining all over similar to Modi's 'Ram Rajya' Gujarat?
Has AAP assumed the 'sainthood'? Far from it and never will for when few individuals meet and convene there are bound to have dissents, but in a grant scheme of things and the interest of Nation, AAP is a welcome change for all the right reasons. Trust me, your 'all and sundry' POlitical Parties too think the same way (except a few of your ilk and Mitr's), and hence having sleepless nights. Go ask them, if you will.
