I'm an Indian and my brother has a PR in Canada. I'm 23 years old and was hoping to see my brother this August. I have a permanent job in India and plan to come back within a month's time. I have heard that they reject visas and I wanted to know what are the chances of getting a visa. My brother will be sponsoring my stay and living expenses.

They just want a strong documentary proof that you will come back to India. Show them this, and you should be ok. Rest, falls on visa officer's mood. There's no foolproof criteria. No harm in trying though and provide as much information as you can on your returning back to India after the visit.

Your brother needs to write an invitation letter

You need to present paperwork which shows
1) Financial stability ( job etc )
2) Ties to India ( which will show that you will return )
3) Travel history help as lot ( which shows that you returned back )

Negatives: Your age, marital status is high risk

Rest is luck
