Slow performance?

Is it just me or is everyone experincing the overall slowness while browsing the site? Something has changed in last 3-4 weeks which is making site to paint slow. I am using IE 8 on decent machine with decent internet speed.

In India, I am having the fastest internet speed available (business connection) and only today I am finding CD website slow.

Not sure what is causing this. I haven't changed anything to the main pages, I am just adding mobile pages, so there might be some conditions added to the logic, but it should not impact this much.

I checked on Google Analytics and yes compared to Dec, Jan, Feb it is slow. It might be a reflection of added traffic, and we may need to go for a higher server.

From the user experience perspective here is what I noticed (not since changes related to mobile were applied but even before that).
1) Changes in tabs/buttons under charcha..they look little bigger and can't put my finger on it but something changed there. (Carcha, Classified, Immigration, Jobs, News ...etc)
2) Once you open a topic the heading has much bigger font. Even the font below the reply text box is much bigger.
3) IT seems to be doing a lot of thinking.. sort of grabbing all the data which is taking time and then suddenly displaying all the contents
4) The overall design seems to be different than how it was before. I mean getting a feel of making site look more lively compared to more static.
5) Some sort of reindexing and cache level setting on web server may help?

Not sure this will help and words may not be right but see if it can make remember the last change that would have caused slowness...

Yesterday's average load time reduced greatly. I removed some unused stylesheets and that should have resulted in this reduction.

Monday 16 Sec
Tuesday 10 Sec
Wednesday 6 Sec

I will still keep working on this.
