Does any one have experience with TV-Desi?

How is their quality?
Is there any other alternate to TV Desi?
I am okay with a solution which offers Western Channels as well as Desi Channels - and get rid of Bell TV, just because Bell is so pricey for the 2nd year.

I tried XBMC last night, it offers mainly recordings, didn't see an option for live channels.
You need to download the apps /links onto your Google/Apple Tv box for different sources. I have ICEFILMS, Ch.1, Movies25..etc.. they have some live channels in their listing.
I am new to it as well - still finding my way around it.
