I would like to try the BB playbook - just because I have a BB device and travel on the train so I can surf during the ride. Does anyone know if using a corporate BB with personal playbook works for surfing and how is the experience? I have unlimited data plan on my work BB.

I am using tethering on Rogers 6GB data plan. Web surfing is pleasurable experience. Video viewing depends on network strength and speed. One cannot access app world on tethering.

You need tether enabled data plan. No idea about corporate plan.

While I am waiting for the Coby Kyros to be delivered, I picked up brand new BB PB today from future shop, the 32 GB WIFI model is available with price tag of 149 CAD. BB might be doing away with the stock due to new BB10 related launches on the card.
I was looking for an e-reader for my dad, thought of giving him a better piece which can serve more purposes.
A tablet for that price with wifi and 32 GB capacity , you just can't go wrong.

Just a tip - Walmart Canada has an Anniversary sale from Sept 12 - 20 and selling BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet 32GB for $118. You can even do a price match with futureshop or best if they are selling for higher price.

I don't have access to that info anymore. I was at some place and read that promotion offer. Check with walmart by calling them.

It is September 14. You can go to walmart.ca, they have the flyer there.

Both Best Buy and Future Shop have a price guarantee for a limited period of time (2 weeks to 30 days maybe). Check it out on their website.

I just checked Future Shop's policy online and they will actually beat the price by 10%, so you'll get it for at least 10 bucks less than Walmart if you purchased it there within 30 days. OR if you're planning to buy it, they will still beat it by 10%.
