My wife has applied for a 1 year visitor visa to Canada (because I am on a work permit here). The consulate asked her to undergo a medical test, which she did, about 15 days ago.

I looked at the consulate website, it says the consulate will contact the applicant only if there is a problem with the medicals. My question is, in case of a visitor visa medical does the consulate contact you for your passport or do you have to go to the colsulate after a while with your passport and ask for a decision?

Can anybody enlighten me about this non-immigrant medical process, and how long it takes (for a case with no complications). Mr. Masood?
