IT IS A VERY DISAPPOINTING ISSUE THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN 200.00 C$ PER PASSPORT FOR SURRENDERING. IF YOU HAVE FOUR PASSPORT TO SURRENDER THAT MEANS YOU ARE PAYING MORE THAN 800.00 C$. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT IT IS NOT JUSTIFIED. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS SOME ADMINISTRATIVE COST BUT REALLY THIS MUCH? I AM SURE NO INDIAN WILL LIKE IT. WE MUST PROTEST THIS. IF YOU LIKE TO JOIN ME PLEASE SEND YOUR OPINION. I WILL BE PROCEEDING TO WRITE A LETTER TO DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS. YOU CAN EMAIL ME

satyenshivam: You are doing a noble thing in regards to taking action against the Indian consulate.
But, i cannot understand your logic behind the above poll. who in their right mind would want to vote 'YES to pay charges'?.

I am not Criticizing you, but do you have any choice to not to pay this heavily charge to CGI??
I am sure so many times this issue arise here at CD and end up with pay to them.

Thanks for your opinion. I understand that so far nothing has been done even on CD. I am using this CD as a base platform to collect the opinions and then I will send the letter to department of foreign affairs which I am already preparing. It is our right to express our opinion and I will make sure it reaches to right table. May be we will not succeed but it is better to try first and then fail. I will put my honest effort whether I fail or succeed does not matter to me. Lets see where we will land.
