hi,

I am a PR ( previours refugee claiment). my passport got expired. Can i renew my passport from Indian embassy in Canada? or Can I send my passport to any Indian regioanl passport office?

your reply would be appreciated.

Why would a refugee claiment be interested in going back to the country where fear of death / execution exists.

He may want to visit any other country(besides India).

Even if he is a successful refugee claimant and Canadian PR, he still holds Indian citizenship and it is his right to renew his passport

Whether I am going to India or not , that is not my point. My question is a refugee claimant can renew his passport? or not. what the Indian immigration law says regarding this.

If anybody renewed their passports ( Indian passport) recently, please share your experience.
