I landed in Canada in April 2004, I came back to USA and now I got my PR card. I need to look for a place/room/apt to rent in Windsor, ON area. Can anyone let me know how I should look for a place..Any classified, newspaper,online ads...I'm looking for the cheapest one!

I need to open a bank account in Canada too. Can anyone tell me where I can open one with minimum deposit and possibly less hassle..I called HSBC, they are saying that the minimum deposit required at any point of time to have an account there is CAN$1500. Is this one a good choice?

I do not have Canadian drivers license. How difficult is the driving test there?
