I did not buy a car in Canada for several years due to this insane loot by insurance companies.
Finally bought a brand new civic on a G2 licence.
Got G next year.
Have paid $17000+ so far in past 5 years. I hardly use the car and take TTC to work.
No claim, no tickets, no accidents.
This year TD raised the annual cost by $600 so went on Kanetix, turns out statefarm is cheaper by $1600!!
Insurance industry along with tele communications is a fraud in this place...just shop around every year.

And BTW I wont buy American cars even if I am paid $10000. No thanks.

we have good smart - ians/ Desi insurance brokers/ agents , who can advise us the best possible way to get best rates. I do not mind going to them till they provide professional service and get us good rates.

Is any Auto Insurance Agent/Broker/Company available on CD , come forward and advise to forum.

Wonder, if any Desi / knowledgeable Auto Insurance Agent ever came forward to advise the market gimmixes and help the community.
Again, it is the time of the year.. (which is all around as there are majority of the members on CD owning a car and looking to get valuable info. when renewing their car insurance)

Can someone recommend any names for auto-insurnace brokers who can find the best quotes and gets his/her commission to do a business for the company they are associated with?

my experience with RBC is the same ,they increased premium on next renewal. I moved to Personal ... let us see how it goes . TD meloche monnex was also like RBC .
